What a week

What an incredibly exciting, exhilarating and quite frankly exhausting week at Cariad Towers !!

With a cocktail of new business appointments; client appointments; networking meetings juxtaposed with hours spent on SEO campaigns, new website releases, client eMail campaigns; new website proposals, interviewing for staff and keeping up with our ever-busy clients; by close of play Friday I was ready to drop - but hugely proud of all that had been achieved in the week.

One of the week's key highlights for me was attending the WIBN meeting in Enfield, where I have just become a member. There was a fantastic buzz with the group this month, and it was inspiring to learn about so many other women's businesses and achievements. A big thanks has to go to Angela Norton who I met for a one2one on Wednesday and she introduced me to her Forever Living Aloe Vera Gelly - which is pretty amazing stuff. It stopped my poor old eczema itching on on my hands in minutes - and now I'm addicted.

The other big thanks of the week go to Simon and Ian Bailey at The PhotoBook Store who have printed and absolutely amazing huge photo canvas of our beloved butterfly logo. It is such high quality and looks amazing in our new offices.

I'm also delighted that I have been asked to speak at the next Viva Business Networking event in Hertford on the subject of 'Marketing your business locally online' as I'm really passionate about this subject. Let's face it -  life is local, even online. Think about it, when you personally or professionally look to buy a product or service - how far are you willing to go? I'm willing to bet that if a local supplier can fulfill your need,  you would use them over a supplier who is miles away (with the obvious exception of when you are buying something online !!!!).  I will enjoy sharing with local small and medium sized businesses,  top tips and tricks on how to get the most of out of their online marketing, and it is particularly apt that this event is hosted in conjunction with Best of Hertford. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Lowlights - well whilst there were no lowlights for the business, as my daughter and husband were poorly this week - it did make everything just a little more tricky than usual. C'est la vie - everyone is now back on the road to recovery and I'm really looking forward to a fun filled end to the month.

Speaking of which, the next few weeks promise to be busy once again. We are launching a new website for a Hertfordshire based catering company; a new website for a North London Freight Forwarding company; a new website for a Hertford based Accountant, a Motorsports company; a Hertfordshire Builder and a Hertfordshire based firm of Virtual Assistant's - and that's just for starters.... We also are working on some extremely exciting SEO projects which I am loving working on.  Exciting stuff eh?
